New from Weller the WD 1000T is a microprocessor controlled soldering station which is ideally suited for use in repair and laboratory enviroments as well as for production, design and R&D applications.

The WD 1000T is based on Weller’s highly successful WD 1000 station. The WD 1000T gives users the same extensive functionality of the WD 1 control unit and the WP 80 iron’s short tip to grip dimensions but with the added benefits of the new WDH 10T safety stand with Stop+Go functionality and integrated WDC 2 dry tip cleaner. Temperature offset, temperature set back level and time as well as temperature lockout can all be programmed from the WD 1 control unit. Using the WDH 10T Stop+Go safety stand in conjunction with the WD 1 control unit results in the automatic return of the soldering iron to its set back temperature when it is placed in the safety stand. When the iron is removed from the safety stand it will be automatically reset to its operating temperature.This process will extend the working life of the tip. A WDC 2 dry tip cleaner has been integrated into the WDH 10T saving on valuable bench space. The use of the dry cleaner reduces surface oxide build up and maintains the thermal efficiency of the soldering tip. This allows the soldering iron operate at lower temperatures which also increases tip life and reduces operating costs.

The Weller WD1000HPT 0053416399 or 0053416699 station combines top of the line equipment to provide a powerful station that is ideal for high precision soldering and soldering on difficult circuit boards.

The new WP120 soldering pencil is featured with this station. The compact and ergonomic pencil is coupled with a powerful heating element. This iron is a champ at soldering joints that are difficult or hardly accessible.

The WD1000HPT is powered by the Weller WD1M single channel power unit. The unit features three programmable preset buttons that can be used to set specific temperatures such as an idle temperature. Great for production, rework and laboratories, the voltage of this unit is 240V with a temperature range of 150°F – 850°F.

Extending the life of your tip is easier with the WDH10T Stop + Go Safety Rest that’s included with the station. When the iron is placed on the rest, the tip saving function is activated, and when the iron is removed from the rest, the tip temperature returns to the specified temperature.
